Bounties

Posted: March 22, 2012 in Uncategorized

So, our illustrious Senators are now calling for hearings on the NFL bounty scandal….  What is the mental condition that afflicts these bumbling idiots who call themselves our leaders?  Are there no other more pressing matters to dedicate the taxpayer funds to?  How about homelessness?  Making sure all military veterans receive proper care and treatment?  Our borders?  The ever-looming financial quagmire this country is mired in?  Robocall foreclosures?

Why do we continue to sit back and allow these fools abuse the power we THE PEOPLE have given them on useless pursuits such as this?  Where are the hearings for the healthcare workers who receive no raises for years while their employers continue to expand and acquire millions and millions of competitors?  Why, given the insight into Goldman-Sachs, aren’t they firing back up the hearings on Wall Street crookedness and executive compensation?

It appears that Roger Goodell did a pretty good job of addressing the issue.  What does the Senate have to offer except more sound bites and an all too high profile, self-serving piggyback ride on the hot news topic of the day?

Besides….doesn’t paying a guy $5 million per year based on his sack numbers already constitute a legitimized, and highly lucrative, bounty program?

Get real Senators, or get lost.

“Change”

Posted: March 11, 2012 in Uncategorized

“Change” comes about when you allow the fast and loose registration of illicit voters.  I have first hand experience with an Obama campaign office registering voters.  Doesn’t America’s infrastructure provide enough avenues to legitimately register voters?  DMV’s, license bureaus, libraries and county election headquarters are all open to every American citizen who qualifies to vote.  Voter registration, like the illusion of modern news outlets, should remain in the hands of neutral organizations.  I strongly disagree with any voter registration that occurs at any campaign headquarters, regardless of party affiliation.

I also vehemently disagree with the fact that photo identification is not required to register to vote in this great nation of ours.  A photo ID is required to:

- drive a car

- purchase alcohol

- apply for a job (one where taxes are deducted legally)

- confirm a credit card or check purchase

- pursue a secondary degree

- register for a state governed test, such as a Series 7, real estate or insurance licensing test

- enter a bar

- purchase anything requiring financing

- fly, either inside the USA or overseas

- purchase a firearm, regardless of the Constitution’s protection of the right to bear arms

If a photo ID isn’t required for voting, then why do any of the above ventures require a photo ID?  Why should the corner bar require a photo ID but the local polling station in your child’s school cafeteria doesn’t?  Parents have to show a photo ID to pick up the children in school there yet the people voting there do not??

Let’s get this fixed America.  Don’t talk to me about disparities, language barriers or racism.  This is America – get your green card or citizenship.  Learn English.  Pay your taxes.  Then, bring your PHOTO ID to the polling station and register to vote.

Don’t like it?  American, Delta, British Air, Aeroflot, US Airways, Southwest and slew of others have outbound flights available on a daily basis.  Catch one and shorten the line for legitimate voters in November.

Elitism

Posted: March 8, 2012 in Uncategorized

Elitism defined is a multi-millionaire proclaiming to be a democrat splurging their riches by purchasing a $100,000 car for another multi-millionaire’s birthday.  That’s 4-5 cars for the truly needy that the democrats proclaim to be the champions of.  Yet, this makes for great Nielson ratings and happy housewives watching daytime TV so no one protests.  Yet another reason America is in the whirlpool and can’t find the power or strength to escape the downward spiral.
